The mentorship program at Rebound Physical Therapy in Kansas has enabled me to grow by leaps and bounds. My leadership has grown plus I have the ability to reach out to any of our other therapists with specialities. With these knowledgeable therapists at my fingertips, I’ve been able to get answers to my questions about these other types of treatment.
This mentorship and access to this knowledge have offered new clinical and leadership opportunities that I couldn’t have obtained in school. I also have access to resources to do continuing education in those areas where I would like to expand my knowledge. It is either provided in-house or I can do a course to improve my depth of knowledge.
Another Benefit of Working at Rebound: Excellent Quality of Care
Our focus in terms of getting our patients back to doing what they want to do is superlative. We often get feedback from our patients like this: “You guys are really focused on getting me back to doing what I want to do, not just getting rid of my pain.” I think that speaks volumes for our quality of care and how we see our patients.
The one-on-one care we provide to every patient is very important to me. I know it’s the kind of care I would like to receive if I were a patient. When you get that one-on-one attention, you feel both seen and heard.
Then, when I can focus on one patient as a therapist, there aren’t four other people I’m trying to pay attention to. Being able to provide one-on-one care is another reason I love working at Rebound, in addition to the mentorship program that has helped me grow so much.
